CrossProduct is different using LinearAlgebra and VectorCalculus, or vectors are shown differently. Also, VectorCalculus redefines the +  sign etc.

SSD disk failure

Model: KINGSTON SV300S37A240G

Firmware revision: 527ABBF0

A user password was set using the maximum level, and the disk removed from the system.

When inserted again, the disk would not respond to commands sent to the disk. The system did report the port as in use.

No physical violence and no known static electricity was involved.

Possible explanations:

• Static electricity.
• The small chock while removing and inserting the cables was enough to damage this disk.
• A firmware bug.

 The disk was less than a year old, and had only been used moderately in a secondary system.

I assume that the failure was somehow related to the fact that the password was set or that the disk was removed and inserted.
